A medallion is a little piece of artwork for the cover of your book. A mini-print made with hand-carved rubber stamps or a small painting is layered with assorted papers into a mini-collage. Pigments, paints, metallic threads and gloss varnish are added to create a unique cover decoration. Some samples are shown below.
